Where: Rosary for Life: Rosary Procession will begin in front of St. Mary Magdalen Parish, 1710 Clower, San Antonio, and process to Planned Parenthood, 104 Babcock Rd. Following peaceful prayer vigil, the group will process on the same route back to St. Mary Magdalen Parish, arriving at approximately 9:30 a.m. Archbishop Gomez will meet the procession at the parish and complete the Rosary there.
Memorial Mass: St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1710 Clower, San Antonio, 78201.

Memorial Mass: Archbishop José H. Gomez, Archbishop of San Antonio, will celebrate the memorial Mass.
Why: Since January 22, 1973 when surgical abortion on demand was legalized by the Supreme Court in the Roe v Wade decision, over 43 million babies have been killed by surgical abortion in this country. Each year on that date, Catholic dioceses hold rosaries for life processions and a memorial Mass for those involved in the abortion procedure, including the murdered babies, those who mourn the death of a child, for the mothers who give up their babies, for the continued commitment to life of the priests and bishops of the Church, and for the medical personnel who may be involved. Finally, we pray for an end to abortion in the United States.
