Videos resources on the our legislative agenda priorities are now available onlinehere. To watch a video. Click the play button over any video to watch it. We've created these videos as a tool to help in preparing advocates for the Catholic Faith in Action: Promoting Life, Justice, and Peace Advocacy Day on April 6, 2011, as well as to provide you with information about our legislative agenda in a more dynamic format. This week Most Rev. Joe Vásquez, Bishop of the Diocese of Austin, gave the inaugural blessing on Jan. 18 at the Texas State Capitol. You can read his prayer on the Diocese of Austin web site here.

Our Mission The primary purpose of the Conference is to encourage and foster cooperation and communication among the dioceses and the ministries of the Catholic Church of Texas. A major function of the Conference is to be the public policy arm of the Conference's Board of Directors, the bishops of Texas, before the Texas legislature, the Texas delegation in Congress, and state agencies. The public policy issues addressed by the Conference include institutional concerns of the Catholic Church as well as issues related to Catholic moral and social teachings. Learn more about us.
